What Happened in the Malachite Wastes is a slice-of-life, modern-fantasy, actual-play style podcast that asks the question: what if the NPCs got to tell their own stories? Each episode follows a different denizen of the Malachite Archipelago, and every story allows viewers to explore the life of an ordinary person in an extraordinary world and share the unique trials, tribulations, and joys of the human (or not-so-human) experience.

OLD KO (80s) is a genial, grandfatherly man...who is also the head of the notorious Iron Teapot Clan. He is charming, handsome, and as lethal as any of his own assassins. Living a fragile human existence in a world full of magic and adventure, Old Ko has been pursuing the secret to immortality for as long as anyone can remember. He isn't about to let something as pedestrian as, say, the betrayal of one of his most carefully groomed protegés to ruin this for him. While Old Ko does not need to have any accent, we would prefer to cast a VA of East Asian heritage, ideally a Chinese actor.

Unfortunately, the show is a passion project, and roles are currently unpaid. However, this character has the potential to be the protagonist of a future episode, allowing the guest to develop his story personally and see art and content created of said character.
